Google Workspace: 400: admin_policy_enforced

  • If you encounter an authorization error while connecting Google Workspace, it may be due to organizational policies that restrict access to your account data :

Google error 400 : admin_policy_enforced
  • To address this issue:
    • In the Google Admin Console, go to Security > Access and Data Control > API Controls > Manage Third-Party App Access : https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?tab=configuredApps
      • Click on "Configure a new application"
      • Search for "elba"
      • Our official applications have the following IDs :
        • Main application (which needs to be declared to log into elba) : 546096049383-jtjv8m9hjne8a74123j4hbeitacj6vav.apps.googleusercontent.com
        • Phishing reporting application : 409461789408-0ejqu81rid03nkggiq609aoa64hjek5k.apps.googleusercontent.com
      • Approve access for your whole organisation
      • The application should now appear in the list here : https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?tab=configuredApps
    • You can now try logging-in again as a super_admin
